Editorial standard
based.press is a curation archive: media, articles, and sources worth preserving, regardless of how uncomfortable they are for prevailing narratives. It is not a news outlet and not a tribe. The bar is simple: claims must be checkable.
What you can rely on
- Original timestamps are preserved. Every entry shows when the item was originally posted, not when it was archived here.
- Sources stay linked. Entries point to the original material. Where the original has died, the entry says so openly and offers an archived copy when one exists.
- Nothing is silently removed. Dead links are marked, not scrubbed. Entries keep their permalinks.
- Selection is the editorial act. What appears here was chosen; the items themselves are presented as found, not rewritten.
What this is not
- Not outrage bait — outrage is the mainstream's business model, not ours.
- Not conspiracy content — falsifiable claims and primary sources only.
- Not partisan — damaging ideologies and practices are fair game wherever they live.
Corrections
If an entry misattributes, mislabels, or misdates something, it will be corrected and the correction noted. A raw mirror is only useful if it is accurate.
